Frequently Asked Questions
1. What makes Pure Destinations unique?
Pure Destinations combines a luxurious portfolio of apartments, villas and chalets with an in-depth knowledge of the areas we are representing. Every destination we market is close to us personally, and therefore we are in a unique position to not just hand over the keys to a property, but to construct a complete holiday experience for you.
Whether that be recommending restaurants, leisure activities or organising your ski hire and ski passes, we have most likely been there and done it ourselves. Like you would expect when reserving a five star hotel, guests will have access to a similar level of service and concierge style facilities whilst staying in their own individual property.
2. What are the benefits of booking a holiday through Pure Destinations?
If you know where you want to go, but want to discuss available activities and excursions, or if you don’t know where to start, Pure Destinations is on hand to assist you in your decision. We tailor make complete holiday packages to suit your needs and will provide honest, factual information on the properties and areas we represent.
In almost all cases when renting a property through an agent, you will simply be handed the keys and then it is up to you to plan the remaining elements of your trip. Much like if you’re booking a five star hotel, Pure Destinations aims to go that extra step. We will provide you with a five star property and arrange every other element of your stay for you.
3. Why should I book a holiday through Pure Destinations as opposed to coordinating my trip myself?
Quite simply, Pure Destinations aims to remove all the hassle from organising a holiday. Whether you’re looking for a romantic break for two, a group skiing holiday, or a family adventure, let Pure Destinations do everything for you. From flights, accommodation, transfers, ski hire, day excursions, tee times to restaurant bookings, we will tailor make your ideal holiday.
As a result of this local knowledge, we have agreed associations with numerous service providers and will often be able to negotiate discounted rates and priority bookings for you and your party.

8. How exactly will I be protected by booking my accommodation through Pure Destinations?
The Package Travel Regulations stipulates that all Tour Organisers provide financial protection in the event of their failure. Pure Destinations, whilst only an agent, has put in place the necessary protection for our customers. Whilst this is over and above our requirements as an agent, we feel that our clients must feel in safe in their booking. We have arranged an approved insurance policy which applies to all persons booking with Pure Destinations. Each customer is provided with a BOND PLUS Certificate which, coupled with the booking confirmation, suffices in the event on the financial failure of the Organiser.
9. What steps will Pure Destinations take to keep the effects of air travel on the environment to a minimum?
We are incredibly sensitive towards the adverse affect air travel has on the environment and is committed to ensuring this impact is kept to a minimum.
As such, we have partnered with the CarbonNeutral® Company to ensure the carbon emissions of all the flights booked on behalf of our customers are fully offset. Prior to departure, we will calculate the amount of carbon emissions a given flight will expel. This amount is then transferred into ‘Carbon Credits’, which are subsequently used to sponsor dedicated ecological projects around the world.
The cost of offsetting the carbon emissions is typically a very small percentage of the total flight cost. 50% of this cost will be passed on to the customer and the remaining 50% will be paid by Pure Destinations.
We have has chosen to sponsor a range of projects that use renewable energy, such as solar, wind, hydro and waste products, to power local electrical and heating systems.
Example 1:
A solar lighting project in India. To stop rural areas that are not connected to any electrical grid system using kerosene to light their homes.
Example 2:
A Biogas project in the Netherlands. Capturing methane and other gases that are being expelled into the atmosphere from the waste of pig and dairy farms and regenerating it into electrical energy for the local grid and to heat local buildings.
10. Will Pure Destinations coordinate the management and rental for my property?
Pure Destinations does not coordinate the management and rental of individual international properties. However, rental management on a larger scale, five properties or more, is very much part of our core business.
In most cases Pure Destinations is acting as a tour operator for the properties featured on this website. The homes are individually owned but are members of the rental programs run by the on-site management team. Through our in-depth knowledge and personal experiences of the properties and the areas where they are located, we are perfectly positioned to represent the developments to the travel market.
11. Can I book online?
We pride ourselves on the personal knowledge of the areas we offer and encourage prospective clients to call us and discuss their individual needs. As such, we do not provide an online booking service and look forward to tailor making holiday experiences for all of our customers.
