Skiing
The skiing in Meribel and the Three Valleys needs no introduction. It has long been a Mecca for all levels of skiers offering over 600kms of pistes. With our chalets perfectly located near to the Golf Chairlift in Meribel Village the ski access could not be better.
Meribel Village also allows you to avoid the mad queues in the morning and again in the afternoon that congregate at the base of Meribel.
For beginners we believe our chalets could not be bettered in the Three Valleys. The best skiing is to be found in and around the Altiport which is directly connected by the Golf chairlift from Meribel Village. The blues and greens are nicely out of the way and hard to get to from Meribel meaning you don't have through traffic to worry about. The access from Altiport is also superb for accessing Courchevel.
For blue run skiers you don't have to explore too far out of the Meribel valley. A good network of blues can be found around the Dent de Burgin and Adret chairs. The Combe Vallon, above Mottaret, is a fantastic red run and very good first thing in the morning.
There are many good expert pistes and blacks around Meribel. The Face Olympic run and the moguls under the Roc de Tougne chair are great runs. Further afield in the Three Valleys; Val Thorens and Courchevel 1850 offer real height and are popular with the off-piste brigade. Specifically Combe de Caron and Combe Saulire runs.
Pure Destinations says...
"The skiing is superb and I don't think I have managed to ride half of it yet. Some fabulous vistas and refreshment stops await those travelling to the Three Valley's. Try the Telebar underneath the Adret chair, offering traditional Savoyard dishes on a beautiful sun terrace. The view from the restaurant at the Trois Marches is superb and after lunch head down to St Martin de Belleville on beautiful cruisey pistes.""
