Getting there
Meribel Village is two km from the main Meribel resort but has direct access to the Three Valleys ski region via chair lift at the base of the village. The village has its own selection of bars and restaurants and enjoys better and less crowded access to the ski area than Meribel resort.
From the UK
There are numerous airlines operating to the French airports of Geneva, Lyons, Chambery and Grenoble. Companies such as British Airways, easyJet and Swiss Air all fly direct to Geneva. Jet2 and flybe offer services from regional airports such as Southampton and Leeds Bradford to Chambery. Transfer time by car from the airport at Chambery is approximately 45 minutes. Geneva is 2hrs 30mins.
From the Republic of Ireland
Ryanair operate a direct service from Dublin to Grenoble. Transfer time by car from the airport is approximately 2hrs. Alternatively, you can take Aer Lingus into Geneva Airport.
From Northern Ireland
Aer Lingus, Flybe, British Airways, Swiss and Air France all fly from Belfast with changes to Geneva. Transfer time by car from the airport is approximately 2 hours 30mins.
From the Netherlands
KLM and easyjet operate a daily service from Amsterdam to Geneva. Transfer time by car from the airport is approximately 2hrs 30 minutes.
From the UAE
Ethiad Airlines fly direct from Abu Dhabi to Geneva with a transfer time of 2hrs 30 minutes.
Within Switzerland or France
The railway network is very reliable. There are several trains from London and Paris that run to nearby Bourg St Maurice.
