If you're keen to get back to nature and want a thrill seeking ride at the same time, Cote Nord is definitely for you.
Located on the north side of the popular Mont Tremblant ski hill, Cote Nord offers access to the wonders of the Mont Tremblant National Park. The national park, which is larger than Greater London and has over 400 lakes, is Quebec's largest and offers a wealth of activities for the adventurous traveller.
Within the park itself, Pure Destinations can arrange:
• Mountain biking - from gentle ambles to all day routes taking in the parks natural lakes and waterfalls
• Walking and hiking - Numerous routes available from park's central office with beautiful viewing and eating spots
• Canoeing and Kayaking - Suitable for adults and children, Pure Destinations can organise trips for a few hours or a few days!
Outside of the park there is a wonder of opportunities for the restless. The gondola to the top of the ski mountain operates all year round and for those that do not fancy hiking up, you can merely catch a lift and ride or hike back down.
The region is awash with mountains, which provide the ultimate playground for cycling, walking and some other more exhilarating experiences. Take to the cliff faces and trees for a variety of wire walking and zip line excursions. There are a huge range of different packages to choose from, depending upon the age of your party, experience and skill level and time you want to spend out of your cabin.
If canoeing is too soft, we will happily arrange rafting or rive kayaking. A far more thrilling (and wetter!) way to experience Tremblant, it's guaranteed to get the blood pumping.
For those with younger children, the nearby Pays des merveilles is an enchanted place that recreates the much-loved children's tale of wonderland.
If nature isn't your thing and the shriek of an overpowered engine floats a different kind of boat then the Circuit Mont-Tremblant is for you. Known around the world as one of the finest circuits in North America, the track has hosted the Grand Prix of Canada on two occasions and is now the only Ferrari racing school outside of Italy.
The track is available for private hire but they also have special allocations for day guests, where they can learn the necessary racing skills to then hurl themselves round the track in either their own or a hired car. Please speak to a Pure Destinations representative for more information and to learn more about the Ferrari and Porsche track days.
Pure Destinations can also organise:
• Horseback riding
• Rock climbing
• Tree top adventures
• Paintball
• Water skiing
• Wakeboarding
Pure Destinations has links with every service provider in Tremblant and can book any activity prior to your departure.
